10 Tips for Success this School Year!!!
  1. Eat a good breakfast every morning.
  2. Wake up early enough to leave on time so you are not tardy!
  3. Be sure you get a good night's sleep.
  4. Prepare all of your things the night before, including clothes or uniforms, socks, shoes, backpacks, homework assignments, etc.
  5. Keep your backpack, desk and room organized so you can find what you need easily and nothing gets lost.
  6. Praise yourself for being well organized and for working independently, but don't be afraid to ask your parents for help when you really need it.
  7. Create a study routine for yourself. A good rule of thumb is to start your homework as soon as you get home from school.
  8. Ask your parents to go over your homework.
  9. Be sure to give your parents all important notes and papers on the same day you get them. This is especially important if your parents need to fill out a form or sign something for you.
  10. Eat healthy snacks that are low in sugar, like fresh fruits and vegetables.

The Echo
A man and his son were walking in the forest. Suddenly the boy tripped. Feeling a sharp pain, he screamed, "Ahhhhhh!" He was surprised to hear a voice come from the mountain: "Ahhhhhh!" Filled with curiosity, he screamed, "Who are you?" But the answer that came back was, "Who are you?" This made him angry, so he screamed, "You are a coward!" The voice answered, "You are a coward!"

He looked at his father. "Dad, what is going on?" "Son," the man replied, "Pay attention!" Then he screamed, "I admire you!" The voice answered, "I admire you!"

He yelled, "You are wonderful!" The answer was, "You are wonderful!"

The boy was surprised, but he still couldn't understand what was going on. Then the father explained, "People call this an "ECHO", but truly it is "LIFE."

Life always gives you back what you give out! Life is a mirror of our actions. If you want more love, give more love! If you want kindness, give more kindness! If you want understanding and respect, give understanding and respect! If you want people to be patient and respectful to you, give patience and respect! This rule of nature applies to every aspect of our lives.

Life always gives you back what you give out. Your life is not a coincidence, but a mirror of your own doings.
